The stages of X Russian National Movie Awards Georges 2014 nominees have started!
This year we celebrate the jubilee and prepared a few innovations. First: in honor of 10 years of Awards every stage will take place from 10 till 10 number. First stage will take place from January 10 till February 10. Traditionally it’s the most important and major part: you should choose movies and actors of last year by yourselves from the beginning.
Second innovation: new nominations. Now you can vote for TV-show (Russian and Foreign) officially released in Russia. Also you can choose The Hero, The Villain and The Duet of the Year (Russian and Foreign). During the first stage you should choose fives of nominees in each nominations.
Third innovation — Actors of the Decade voting. In honor of people’s choice jubilee we’ve made a list of actors who were nominees of Georges Awards for all these years. You should choose Actor and Actress of the Decade — Russian and Foreign. This voting will take place from January 10 till March 10.
Few moments you should know. First —Gérard Depardieu now is Russian actor. Second — there are no movies as Romeo+Juliett which were re-released in last year. They’ve got their prizes in their years and we are voting for fresh-released movies. And if you don’t find your choice in short version of list, switch to long list. There are rules of voting which help you.
The main stage will take place from February 10 till March 10. Data and place of awarding ceremony will be announce later.
