Russian National Movie Awards “Georges” is the first award in Russia with people’s voting. The award is named as a tribute to Georges Méliès, the director and pioneer of special effects in film. The prize of the Georges Awards is a unique matryoshka. Georges gives prizes not only for Russians, but for foreigns winners either. In 2014 Georges Awards will be presented at 10th time.
