The first stages of Georges 2012 Awards nominees has started! We have some changes this year — small ones, but important.
The main change — now we are just Russian National Movie Awards, without word “Internet”. We are not just bloggers award anymore: any movie fan and spectator can vote, and it doesn’t matter if he has a blog or not. We changed our logo and web-adress: now it’s national-movie-awards.ru.
Second news — we have changed names of nominations: now you choose not The Best Movie or The Best Actor, but Movie of the Year or Actor of the Year. We decided not to use questionable measures: The Best is a professional decision, and we will choose The Favorite.
Third news — we have changed days of voting. The first stage will take place from January 10 till January 31. As always you define movies and actors of last year yourselves — and during the first stage you should choose fives of nominees in each nominations. We give everything to your hands as always — even division of the movies into genres. You decide yourselves what movies should be regarded as comedies, what is drama, and where the real action is. The second stage will take place from February 13 till March 31: we decided to give you more days for voting to collect more voices.
