The stages of IX Russian National Movie Awards Georges 2013 nominees have started!
The first stage will traditionally take place from January 10 till January 31. As always you define movies and actors of last year yourselves — remember, you choose not The Best Movie or The Best Actor, but Movie of the Year or Actor of the Year. We decided not to use questionable measures: The Best is a professional decision, and we will choose The Favorite.
During the first stage you should choose fives of nominees in each nominations. We give everything to your hands as always — even division of the movies into genres. You decide yourselves what movies should be regarded as comedies, what is drama, and where the real action is. Two moments you should know. First — there is no Gérard Depardieu (yet?) among list of Russian actors. Second — there are no movies as Pulp fiction which were re-released in last year. They’ve got their prizes in their years and we are voting for fresh-released movies.
The second stage will take place from February 4 till March 3. Data and place of awarding ceremony will be announce later.
